Narratives.

It’s interesting, it seems that there is no narrative for those who are oppressed. We have to fit into someone else’s narrative. We cannot decide what our narrative is, we can’t tell the story. This is something that has always happened. Narratives are told and decided by the institutions that have power. It is empowering to create our own narrative. It’s empowering for us to decide what we are.
